The core competence of phpWebSite is managing content. That's why it's called a content management system. There are a couple of guides on how to install phpWS technically and how to work with modules.
Then, there's the actual content. I couldn't find a common practice guide on how to write content for phpWebSite. So I did one on my own. Enjoy!

Quite some stuff to read, eh? ;) Well, I wouldn't have guessed it would be that much. Then, on the other hand, some of that stuff might be obvious to you anyway. I'd love to read your opinions on all of this in the comments area right here. Please write, it will help me think about other articles about phpWebSite etc. Like my boss once said: It's not about buying fish. It's about to learn fishing, which will get you further. Oh, and if there's one thing you can take with you: don't use htmlArea, as it will make you troubles. I'll write some more about the benefits of using simple, logical markup without presentational markup later on. |
